The WWFaC daytime book group just read Tove Jansson's The Summer Book, a beautiful depiction of summer on a remote Finnish island. The girls and I read John Green's The Fault in our Stars (and all his other novels) well before they became so popular, and feel fairly possessive of it; we were just relieved to find that the movie adaptation does no major damage, and I think I'll reread it again. Summer is just beginning, hoping to get lots of reading in, since no significant vacation will be happening. I'm going to try one or two of these marvelously varied suggestions.
