Thanksgiving dinner
Missing ones not in their places
Turkey of secondary importance
In woods filled with nut droppings
Wild turkeys look like little old men
Happy to survive another holiday
Giblets’ yearly bow
Loud pause hushes all before grace
The white food awaits
